Amapiano (Zulu for "pianos") is a house music genre that first appeared in South Africa in 2012.It was derived from kwaito, a South African house music style. Gospel music is a Christian music genre.Kwaito music began in the 1990s as a mash-up of various rhythms such as marabi, kwela, maskhandi, 80s bubblegum music, and Imibongo (African praise rhyme).In the 1970s, Puerto Ricans and Jamaicans played a key part in the establishment of hip hop culture in New York City's Bronx neighborhood. Gospel music's invention, performance, relevance, and even description differs by culture and social environment.
